1. Scope and responsible developer
This policy applies to AccessiMind Reader, an Android application developed by Sarper Arikan. AccessiMind Reader is an accessibility service. It uses Android accessibility APIs to speak screen elements and carry out user commands.

2. Data the app can process
Accessibility content
While enabled, the app may process visible text, control names and roles, window/tree structure, focus and interaction state, app package information and a screenshot when required by an action you initiate. This access supports screen reading, navigation, search, description and labeling.
Device and app preferences
Speech, gesture, menu and AI-provider settings, selected apps and label records can be stored on the device. If you choose Gemini, the API key you enter is held in the app's private local storage and used to authorize Gemini API requests.
Phone state
Relevant versions may request phone-state permission to detect an active call and adapt screen-reader behavior on phone and call screens. It is not used to record call content or audio.
Feedback
If you email us, we process your message, address and any technical details you voluntarily include to respond. Do not send API keys, passwords or private screen content.
3. AI processing choices
On-device Gemma
When the local Gemma provider is selected, supported model inference runs on your device. A network connection is needed to download the model; analysis input is not sent to a cloud AI provider when only this local route is used.
Gemini cloud service
When you enable Gemini and initiate a request, relevant text, accessibility context and—depending on the request—a screenshot may be sent to the Google Gemini API. The request uses your API key and selected model. Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy practices. Review the Gemini API Additional Terms and Google Privacy Policy before using cloud features.
Automatic labels
Automatic labeling operates only for apps you select. Suggestions are grouped by app identity and cannot replace a strong author-provided label without approval. Imported suggestions remain pending review.
4. Retention and deletion
Preferences, API configuration and applied or pending automatic-label records may remain as app data on your device. You can remove one label or an app's records in label management and remove the API key in AI settings. Clearing Android app data or uninstalling the app removes local app data. You control retention of files you export.
A developer-operated user account or central label database is not part of this version's core operating model. Data sent to a cloud provider is subject to that provider's retention terms.
5. Data sharing
AccessiMind Reader does not sell personal data. Data can reach a third party only in cases such as:
- Google Gemini API when you initiate cloud analysis;
- the relevant system or provider when you use an Android or speech-engine feature;
- competent authorities when legally required;
- a destination you choose when exporting or sharing a file.
6. Security
The app uses safeguards such as excluding password fields from defined text-copy paths, bounding analysis scope, preventing labels from being applied to stale focus and validating imported label identity. No device, network or storage method is perfectly secure. Use a device lock, keep API keys private and protect exported files.
7. Your choices and controls
- Disable the accessibility service at any time in Android Settings.
- Change the AI provider or turn AI features off.
- Remove your Gemini API key.
- Select or remove apps from automatic-labeling scope.
- Review, edit, export and delete labels.
- Revoke optional Android permissions, including phone state, in system settings.
8. Children's privacy
AccessiMind Reader is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children. If a child uses it, the device owner or guardian should supervise the selected cloud provider and content submitted.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may change when features or data practices change. The updated date will appear at the top. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or release notes.
